(March 14, 2005) - Expanding chiropractic benefits to Medicare beneficiaries, veterans, and active duty military personnel were all listed as top priorities for many powerful legislators and policymakers who spoke during the American Chiropractic Association's (ACA) National Chiropractic Legislative Conference (NCLC) March 3-5, in Washington, DC.
Rep. Rogers Introduces Bill to Extend Chiropractic Benefits in Military's Tricare Program
Arlington, Va. ((March 7, 2005) - U.S. Rep. Mike Rogers, R-Ala., has introduced legislation that would extend chiropractic health benefits to U.S. military retirees, dependents and survivors through the TRICARE program. The ACA, the nation's largest chiropractic organization, has been involved in discussions concerning this legislation - HR 999 - and is committed to working with Rep. Rogers to build strong bi-partisan support among pro-chiropractic members of Congress.
